'Switch My Home' and Shinyoung: Measurement-Based Construction Comes to Home Repair TV
〈Switch My Home〉 used Shinyoung's measuring instruments to capture construction that leaves nothing to guesswork.
〈Switch My Home〉, the ENA series created by SIXONE, collaborated with industrial measuring instrument company Shinyoung Measuring Instruments to bring measurement-based construction to the show.
Laser levels and distance meters are used on the actual sites. The process of checking level, plumb and distance appears on screen as-is, showing construction that does not rely on feel or experience alone.
The approach was applied to window replacement, wall construction and structural reinforcement. The content covers not only the results of the work but the foundational step of measurement — because setting reference points precisely is directly tied to construction safety.
The homes differ each episode. The show visits places with circumstances all their own — a room where children from an orphanage live, the aging house of an independence patriot's descendant, a vacant house too run-down for a young person to live in.
