2WHY SIX & ONE

They walked out of the symbol mark.

SIXONE symbol mark

The SIXONE symbol mark ties the name 61 into a single stroke. The stroke wrapping the outside is the 6; the vertical line standing at the right is the 1.

SIX and ONE are those two numbers, each given a body and walking out on their own. SIX wraps around the whole picture and plans; ONE stands straight inside it and carries things through to the end. Even the fact that they never work apart comes from the symbol.

Using the characters.

Five rules that keep them reading as the same two, wherever they appear.

  1. 01SIX on the left, ONE on the right

    When they stand side by side, it’s always this order. Read left to right: SIX · ONE — SIXONE.

  2. 02Body color, eyes and antenna count stay fixed

    Outfits can change with the scene (the white hoodie and blue vest in the spaceship set). Body color, big black eyes and the number of antennas (two for SIX, one for ONE) never change.

  3. 03Expressions come from a small mouth

    The eyes always stay big and black. Joy, surprise and other expressions come only from the shape of the mouth and body language. No eyebrows or teeth are added.

  4. 04Realistic texture by default

    The default look is realistic 3D with soft skin and fabric textures. When used as flat illustrations, they keep the same character colors shown above.

  5. 05Alongside the logo

    Keep them outside the logo’s minimum clear space (1X). The characters never hold or cover the logo.
